I developed a family tree application that ran on Windows with the data stored in an Access database. The application was later redeveloped for iOS with the database converted to SQLite.
After signing up to Ancestry, I wanted to be able to import my Ancestry tree into my App and view the data the way that I wanted. The Gedcom format could be easily exported from Ancestry and so the App was repurposed to import a Gedcom file rather than use an SQLite database. Treeviews is the result of that process.
